User Content (Notes, Checklists, Audio & Images) * **Local Storage First:** All notes, to-do checklists, tags, voice memos, and image attachments created in Memora are stored locally on your device in a private, sandboxed database. * **No Unauthorized Transmission:** We do not read, transmit, or monetize your personal notes on external servers without your explicit action. ### B. Device Permissions Requested by Memora Memora only requests device permissions strictly necessary to provide its core features: * **Microphone (`RECORD_AUDIO`):** Used solely when you record voice notes. Audio is processed on-device and never transmitted to any third party. * **Camera (`CAMERA`):** Used exclusively when you choose to scan a QR code for 1-Tap Note Sharing, or when taking a photo to attach to a note. * **Biometric Sensors (`USE_BIOMETRIC`):** Used to unlock the app when you enable App Lock. Biometric authentication (fingerprint / face) is handled entirely by the Android operating system; Memora never accesses, collects, or stores your biometric data. * **Notifications & Alarms (`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM`, `POST_NOTIFICATIONS`):** Used to deliver reminders and alarms that you schedule. * **Calendar (`READ_CALENDAR`, `WRITE_CALENDAR`):** Used strictly if you choose to sync your scheduled reminders with your device calendar. > **Note on Location:** Memora **does not** collect, request, or track your physical GPS or location data. ### C. Cloud Backups & 1-Tap Note Sharing (User-Initiated) * **Google Drive Cloud Backup:** If you choose to use the Cloud Backup feature, the app connects directly to your personal Google Drive account via Google Sign-In. Backups are stored in your own private Google Drive storage space. We do not have access to your Google credentials or your cloud storage. * **1-Tap Note Sharing:** If you choose to share a note with a peer using a 6-digit code or QR code, only that specific note's content is temporarily hosted on our secure cloud backend (Firebase). The shared content is automatically or manually removable, and none of your other local notes are accessible. ### D. Third-Party Services, Diagnostics & Advertising To support app stability and provide free features, the Application utilizes trusted third-party SDKs: * **Google AdMob & UMP (User Messaging Platform):** To display advertisements and manage user consent in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and Google policies. AdMob may collect and process anonymous device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID) and usage data according to [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can adjust your consent at any time from the app's Settings ("Privacy Options"). * **Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics:** To identify crashes, measure app stability, and optimize performance. Data collected is anonymous and technical in nature (e.g., device model, OS version, stack traces). * **Google Play In-App Billing (RevenueCat):** In-app purchases or subscriptions for Pro features are processed securely through Google Play. Retention and Deletion of Your Data * **Local Data:** You can edit or permanently delete your notes, checklists, and attachments at any time directly within the app. Uninstalling the application will delete all locally stored data from your device unless backed up. * **Cloud Backups:** You can delete your backup archives at any time directly through the app's Backup manager or through your Google Drive account. * **Shared Notes:** You can terminate sharing for any shared note with 1 tap ("Διακοπή διαμοιρασμού" / "Stop Sharing"), which immediately revokes access and removes the shared record. --- ## 4. Children's Privacy Memora does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
